New Moon in Capricorn

A Renewal: New Moon in Capricorn conjuncts Mercury retrograde, Uranus opposite Jupiter, Mars conjunct the South Node.

As Mercury is still in retrograde – at its midpoint- when you plant your new Moon seeds, let them simmer longer than you normally would– reflect more deeply about what you want to create for the long-term.  2017 is going to be a long ride and unusual ride.

Capricorn is an earth sign and earth is more receptive to the outer world.  Saturn, the lord of time, its ruler – this is a seed that needs to be planted deep in the earth and watered and cared for correctly – as you plan on building structure and foundation to those things you want to last.

This new Moon is asking us if there is anything we have done in the past that we would like to try again, this time with more refinement, more responsibility, less emotionality —  that benefits humanity in some way.  No tall order, here.  We can benefit humanity by being more mindful and cleaning up our side of the fence.

Uranus is still in opposition of Jupiter and Mar is conjunct the South Node and Neptune.  Are we going to hold on to the past and react in old conditioned ways?  We can move toward understanding what triggers us and find healthier coping skills to deal.  Perhaps, we all can benefit from an attitude change – whatever will burst –  the energy is calling for us to move toward that Virgo energy – discern, discriminate, analyze – and as Virgo is all about health – start finding new ways to live a healthier life.
