New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces

I had my first ‘mystical’ experience in 1997 on the border of Mexico and California.   I was living in Los Angeles and attending film school.  I had this dream of becoming a filmmaker and photographer and had just finished the filming of my student film.  I decided to treat myself to a spa weekend at Deepak Chopra institute just outside San Diego.

At the time, I dabbled in various spiritual and occult practices without much commitment.  That was March of 1997 and for the next two years, I had a variety of mystical experiences in my waking and dream life that led me to leave the film industry and attend massage school and study energy healing.    The Pisces Solar Eclipse of 1997 was in my 8^th house of other people’s resources, the invisible/spirit world, and intimacy.

In the last 20 years, I’ve traversed a very eclectic path that led me to a disillusionment with all that was spiritual — and I banished the spiritual world from my life to live a ‘regular life’.  It has become clear to me with this upcoming New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces at 8 degrees, again in my 8^th house – I can’t run away from this calling any longer – however, with a more practical and much wiser (is that a word?) understanding –

As the moon will be casting a shadow on the earth as it is blocking the Sun’s light, we are called to let the mystical side of Pisces in.  It’s like a moon on steroids because it is receiving an immense amount of light from the Sun – yet the Earth only receives a small portion of that light.

Let go of the burdensome thoughts and emotions you have – do not identify with them as a part of you – Neptune will conjunct this New Moon configuration – encouraging the letting go process – the mystical experience that could come if we let go – be careful not to get too carried away in fantasy and delusion or old co-dependent or drug addicted behaviors – the South Node will conjunct this configuration as well as Mercury– it is time to PURGE the old – let it go so we can let the beginning of something new enter our lives.

Uranus and Mars joining forces in Aries – watch out!  The impulse to change can be so intense that you move forward before you have resolved any of those old issues – you could be highly triggered to explode

Pluto is going to be a player here as well – in Capricorn – we are breaking down old structures – and whatever Pluto demands must be done – it will happen no matter what – with Jupiter in the mix here – there are some big changes coming.  Will you be ready for it?

Regardless of what happens out in the world or within you – do something Piscean related—get in touch with your intuition — soak in a hot bath, listen to your favorite music, do something for someone else, meditate, do yoga – it helps the purge feel less intense — it’s the birth of a new you — get in tune with your vibes, Baby
