Full Moon in Gemini

Full Moon in Gemini — Yeah!

A full Moon is a culmination of a cycle in which we receive or experience the ‘efforts’ or best wishes we’ve intended since the New Moon. Two weeks ago, we were deeply setting our roots into creating more depth and investigation about how to do that — view the New Moon in Scorpio blog to read more about it.

Gemini is asking us to weed through all the information we’ve come across and all the discussions that we’ve had regarding (perhaps) our beliefs and attitudes around our
new Moon intentions. Have you heard and learned far more than you ever thought you would? Have you seen where your beliefs and attitudes hold you back?  Mercury rules Gemini so we have far more talking to do before this cycle is complete. So let go of any beliefs, attitudes, judgments and false information that does not support your movement forward.

This Full Moon is making some interesting aspects — sextile Neptune and quincunx Jupiter for starters.  We can see through the BS that other people are telling us or telling themselves.   Jupiter and the Moon need to make an adjustment here — we do NOT need to reveal what we know without all the facts. We still are collecting those facts and Jupiter will guide us deeper into Scorpionic waters — sometimes, the truth just comes out with little effort on our part to do or say anything about it.  Another way this could play out is that we are receiving the right information that will guide us to our dreams.  We are connecting to the right resources, finally, that align with our beliefs and values.

Neptune, Sun, Moon and Jupiter are all at 11 degrees and 37-40 seconds — 11 is a master number. Wherever these planets fall in your house, in your life, this is where your intuition is most high. There is good luck here.

We still have that fire trine between Uranus and Saturn adding structure to our insights — and Uranus opposite Mars which creates tension between the unexpected insight
and our action we want to take from it — we either blurt it out insensitively or we avoid any conflict to keep the peace.  Has any relationship ever been in balance when we don’t speak our truth in respectful manner?

What will help us deal with all these insights into other people’s behaviors and our own is to use wise mind in relaying information — or just wait until all info is received. It will
come out at some point — timing is essential.

I’d like to say the fun is about ready to begin — Saturn moving into Capricorn will lighten things up a bit and also put us to work in Capricorn.  You’ve heard the saying ‘all work and no play make Jack a dull boy’?    We will need to remind ourselves to balance work and play, especially with NN in Leo (more on that in a bit).

We have a Mercury retrograde and this is a symbol that we don’t always have to take action every moment of the day. We can rethink, redo, revisit our attitudes and beliefs — people we haven’t seen in a while may return into our lives briefly and we can reassess our relationships, beliefs, attitudes — I wouldn’t say don’t make a choice or sign a contract until Mercury retro has passed safely out of our comfort zone — if we look at it metaphorically, we see that we live and work without giving ourselves space for self-care, to really sit with ourselves and our decisions — to slow down. We can use the energy of this retro period to do that — we can slow down anytime we want. why not now?

NN in Leo –no matter what you experience — keep opening your heart and strengthening your insight into your authentic, lovely, generous, self.  Leave time for play!

New Moon in Scorpio — You Know

I’m a little bit late with the new Moon post — was having some computer issues that are now fixed.

The new Moon is a time to plant seeds, start something new, or a fresh start on
an old project. A new Moon is also a good time to release or banish unwanted
habits or emotional blockages that you have noticed get in the way of what
you want to create. Yes, you can do that at the Full Moon, too — the dark of the
New Moon is a perfect time to absorb that which you want to rid yourself of so you
have more room to start whatever you want to start. Then you can draw to you
want you want to attract.  You knew that anyway, didn’t you?

This new Moon is in Scorpio. A fixed water sign, Scorpio calls out to us from
the depths of our being to be brutally honest about who we are and what we want.
Scorpio will help us clear out the toxins — a perfect time to do a shamanic soul
retrieval.

The Sun in Scorpio provides the strength to highlight those areas we have overlooked — it’s like shining a magnifying glass on a splinter.  You see it.  You got it.  You can extract it.  No problem.

Now, the interesting thing with this New Moon is the only major aspect is
with Uranus in Aries .  Uranus is electricity, eccentricity, unexpected, surprise
and excitement — in Aries.  Aries is not a guy who is patient.  He wants to take action pronto!

Uranus is quincunx the Moon.  This is a difficult aspect where an adjustment needs to be made between the Moon and Uranus.  The Moon and Uranus communicate well on their own but not so much together .   We could receive amazing and unexpected insights about the direction of our lives or certain thought patterns that have been blocking us.  We just see them like we hadn’t before and we just want to take action on those
insights.  I encourage you to wait. Yeah, I say that a lot, don’t I?

Let’s say you have this insight that you should quit your job and become an actress — what you’ve always wanted to do or you decide it’s time to leave your significant other or sell your house, or go on a fad diet to lose 20 pounds in 1 week.   I encourage you to do your research first.  Be practical.

Chiron is in Pisces making a trine aspect to the Moon. Chiron is the wounded healer.  It is with Chiron’s help that we can heal our wounds.  In this new Moon position it is healing deep emotional wounds that have blocked us from moving forward.

Jupiter aligned with Venus helps us to expand our values, and grow from these insights and deep healing.

Mars in Libra is in it’s opposite sign of Aries — Mars in Aries is the warrior
who takes action and thinks only of himself. Mars in Libra always thinks about the other before taking action.  This is what makes Mars in Libra the diplomat or the pleaser, the lover and not the fighter.  Use the energy of Mars to discuss your insights with others
before you take action.

Well, that’s it folks. If you celebrate Thanksgiving — have a good one!

Full Moon in Taurus – Glow

Image may contain: plant, flower and nature

The full Moon again!  What is the gift we have been waiting for?  Is it more money?  More time to do what we love to do?  Perhaps we have or have been going through a shift in our value system so we have had to dig pretty deep to pull out the weeds.

The Taurus Moon opposite the Sun in Scorpio provides the energy to do just that.  Taurus and Scorpio are fixed signs so we don’t want to budge from where we stand on issues.  We want to feel safe and secure and that means sticking to what is familiar and what has worked in the past.

The Sun is in close proximity with Jupiter and Mercury pushing us to go deep, deeper and still deeper.  Enough emotional processing already!  Enough looking at all my issues and how to resolve them!  It’s like picking at a pimple for too long – right?  It all depends on how you pick the pimple and what tools you use.

How do you balance deep emotional processing and growth with practical needs?   At some point you need to take a break and reward yourself.  Have great sex.  Get a massage.  Take a long walk in nature.  Balance your checkbook (well, that may not be relaxing for some people but if you’ve been having money issues it’s time to get back on track).  Love yourself just a little bit more than you did yesterday.

We’ve all discovered some kind of expansion or growth from what we have discovered about ourselves and we can start implementing these changes in small steps

The Moon will be making an easy aspect with Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn.  Our relationships can provide inspiration and support.  Our intuition is spot on – our imagination fuels the power of our intuition.  When you feel that knowingness flowing through your body you know what you need to do.

Another energy that is in the backdrop here is the grand fire trine – seems this has been going on for some time now – North Node in Leo, Saturn in Sag, and Uranus in Aries.  We understand that there are rules to playing fair with others – that we can adhere to our philosophy and beliefs and still be our lovely selves.  When we do what we love to do we are happier.  When we make choices that are in alignment with our values, we are happier.  When we are more relaxed than polarized with our opinions, we are more peaceful because our minds are not clouded with negative thinking and opposition (unless that’s what you’re going for).

Summary: We are learning how to shine our light in relationships and still adhere to our own principles.  Glow, my friends.  Glow!

Full Moon in Aries- Authenticity

The Cosmic Salon

As the new Moon in Virgo two weeks back was communing with the Sun, charging itself up for this week’s Full Moon, we wanted to make sure we didn’t take action too soon because there were still minor details to iron out.

No pressure, right?   Haha –

The Full Moon in Aries is opposite Sun in Libra and opposition is always a time for balance.  What do we need to balance?

Aries is an individual that springs into action without needing the other to do so.  Aries is self-reliant and self-interested, bold, and willing to venture where no one else has ventured before.  Aries unconscious can attack first and ask questions later, aggressive and hot-headed.

Sun, Mercury and Jupiter are in Libra.  Libra represents love, peace, beauty, harmony, balance, caring for others.  When Libra is unconscious can think more of the other than of oneself (co-dependent anyone?) and especially when…

Jupiter into Scorpio

Jupiter has officially moved into the sign of Scorpio.    We are plunging into the depths of our unconscious for super amazing transformation.  Scorpio demands it and we can’t escape it.  It’s intense and it is needed.  Jupiter here will expand our consciousness and increase our awareness as we begin to dismantle our unhelpful belief systems and power structures.  We are seeing in the media that abuse of power will no longer be tolerated.   Secrets will emerge in some area of our personal lives and in the process, we will begin to heal our hearts.

Scorpio has a dark side — manipulation, self-destructiveness, hidden agendas, criminal tendencies, sexual violations, and fears — deep psychological fears that hold us back from becoming successful.   Scorpio demands that you be brutally honest with yourself.  What is truly holding you back?  What are you resisting or not facing?

As you ride on Jupiter’s wings of wisdom, it’s a reminder that as you dive deep you can still take the high road.

Full Moon in Aries- Authenticity

When Libra is unconscious can think more of the other than of oneself (co-dependent anyone?) and especially when wanting to maintain peace and avoid conflict will override their own needs.  Libra is a super-hero of avoiding conflict at all costs.

We learn to balance our self-interest with caring for others; our anger with love and peace.  We can be angry and still be peaceful.  We can have conflict and be loving.  We can think of our own needs and respect others needs at the same time.

What’s interesting here is that Mars rules Aries (where the Moon is now) and Venus rules Libra (Sun, Mercury, Jupiter).  Venus and Mars in Virgo will be conjunct one another or are conjunct now calling for us to merge our actions with our values.

Uranus is in Aries opposite Jupiter – I mean, when will the chaos end?  Uranus in Aries is the radical individual who unexpectedly breaks the laws and creates chaos in his/her wake.  Jupiter in Libra is about Justice – and also taking the easy way out.   Do we want peace at any cost?  Or are we willing to sit down and really consider the circumstances.  For example, are stricter gun laws really going to keep radicalized individuals from breaking laws and creating chaos?

To add to the stress we have Pluto square the Sun, Mercury and Moon.  Pluto won’t let Jupiter take the easy way out.  Pluto represents the underworld, our unconscious and what lurks in our unconscious that needs to come to light.  Pluto says, ‘you think you worked this one out, but you haven’t’.  For issues to dissolve we have to work on them; we have to heal them from within.  Pluto will only accept the truth.  If we resist or Deny that truth, it makes the healing more painful.  Pluto is calling for transformation – taking a walk on the beach is not going to resolve this issue nor is taking a pill to make the pain go away.

We have to look to our body, our mind, and our emotions for the answers and dig deep – with Pluto in Capricorn, this has to do with our relationship to power and status.

The direction toward authenticity, love, understanding is through honest conversations we have with ourselves and with one another.  The unhelpful societal rules and unhelpful belief systems are dismantling whether you like it or not.

As always – be well.

New Moon in Virgo – Move forward and don’t move

We have another new moon, guys! What a relief after the messy Full Moon in Pisces. Sort of.
Just when you thought you had all the information you needed to move full-steam ahead — DON’T.  Not yet.

The Full Moon in Pisces brought us a hurricane and a mass exodus out of Florida.  Pisces does this to us — bringing our fears to the surface and we run.  Not that you shouldn’t run when you are in danger — with Virgo in the forefront we have been flooded with information and we now think we have the Glorious answers and we know what to do.

Ask yourself, what in your life were you fleeing from and fleeing toward?  Answering this question will help you see what it is you are seeking with this new moon.

A new Moon is always conjunct the Sun.  The new Moon is dark and using the Sun as a source of energy to charge up.  We are taking in the information we have received and separating what’s useful from what is not useful.  This is Virgo’s task as ruled by Mercury and in a mutable sign.  We use discernment before we take action at the full Moon (not before).

We have a T-Square with Moon and Sun in Virgo opposite Chiron in Pisces conjunct the Mid-Heaven and these three planets square Saturn in Sagittarius.  We know we have a problem and we aren’t quite sure how to proceed — but wait — we do know.  No, wait.  Maybe not.  With the mutable T-Square we think we know what decision to make and then we change our mind again.
It’s Chiron’s fault, really.  We have an emotional wound that’s getting in the way of our decision.  Isn’t it true when our emotions get in the way we tend to make irrational decisions?  The information we’ve received is fogged up (Pisces) by our emotional outlook. –

The point of focus is Saturn in Sagittarius. Saturn is foundation, structure, caution, timing.   These wounded emotions cause us to feel like the structure of our lives is falling apart and we should take fast action to repair it.  Okay, so we don’t have pat answers yet, but we do know what the issue is (that emotional wound being triggered).

Let’s look at the Grand Trine Saturn makes with Uranus in Aries and North Node in Leo.
We’ve got some new energy potential that is causing us a lot of excitement and we want to take action and go for it.  We are certain it is a sure thing.

We still have some healing to do — so take your time over the next two weeks before you decide what you want to do with the information you’ve received.  Use discernment, talk it out.  You’ll be glad you did.

The Full Moon will be in Aries in two weeks and you will be able to make progress at that point.  The cool thing is that when you wait for clarity — you find the gold you seek.
